Public Notice - HCVP Wait List Opening

Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) will be opening their Housing Choice Voucher Program's (HCVP) waiting list for tenant-based assistance on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 12:01 am. All families with a head of household age 18+ may apply. Pre-applications will be accepted online only at lucasmha.myhousing.com until Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 11:59 pm. After September 25, 2019 the waiting list will remain open only to special programs. These applications are accepted via a referral process only.

Applicants will be placed on the HCVP waiting list using a lottery system. LMHA may choose to limit the number of applicants accepted through the lottery process and those applicants not randomly chosen will be discarded.

Pre-applications are also being accepted for project-based voucher assistance and may remain open after Wednesday, September 25, 2019 until indicated as closed at lucasmha.myhousing.com. Applicants applying for project-based voucher assistance after Wednesday, September 25, 2019 will be placed on the waiting list according to any preference(s) for which they qualify by date and time their completed application is received until such time that this waiting list is indicated as closed.
