Lucas Metropolitan Housing to Hold PCs for People Distribution Events

Toledo, Ohio, July 28, 2021 - Beginning on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, LMH will be kicking off its PC for People Distribution Events that will run through August 13th.  During these events, qualified LMH residents will receive a FREE desktop computer package, including a desktop computer, monitor, headphones, keyboard and mouse, WiFi adapter as well as the necessary cords. LMH residents who are seniors will also have access to telehealth services.

The distribution of computers and related equipment to LMH residents was made possible through a grant from Greater Toledo Community Foundation to PCs for People. 

"We are grateful for the partnership with PCs for People and Greater Toledo Community Foundation for providing access to technology to help bridge the digital divide for our residents," said Libby Schoen, LMH, Vice President of Resident Services.

"This is especially important for many of our residents who have historically had to deal with disparities related to the digital divide and everything that goes with it," he said.
