LUCAS METROPOLITAN HOUSING AUTHORITY WELCOMES LISC AMERICORPS MEMBER

(March 30, 2017) - Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) welcomes the newest member of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) AmeriCorps, Amber Walker, to its Resident Services Department.

Holding a B.S., in Human Development & Family Studies, and an M.A., in clinical counseling, Amber is passionate about working directly with people and strengthening the Toledo community. Ms. Walker's expertise will assist with the development and implementation of various programs and services that will allow LMHA's clients to meet community service requirements.

LISC is dedicated to helping community residents transform distressed neighborhoods into healthy and sustainable communities of choice and opportunities.
