PHA 5 - Year & 2006 Annual Plan 12/02/2006 The LMHA's Public Housing Authority 5-Year and 2006 Annual Plan has been approved by HUD. You can find the document by clicking on "About" at the top of the screen and then on "Annual Plan" in the left column. The Plan is required by the Department of Housing and Urban Developlment persuant to the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998 and is the blue print for programs and activities that the LMHA will undertake this next year as well as through December 2009. Although not required, LMHA generally updates its 5-year plan every year to ensure long term viability of its programs, and quick response to the changing HUD environment. Various ways to Homeownership 09/15/2006 We offer a Housing Choice Voucher program and a Public Housing Resident homeownership program as well as other opportunities to get you in a new or remodeled home. We also offer a homebuyer education and a credit counseling program for low to moderate income families. We have recently completed 5 new 2-story, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath homes on North Erie Street (at Suder Avenue) in North Toledo, that are for sale at this time. Recently sold was a 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch on Moorish Street in Central Toledo, and two, 2-story, 3 bedroom homes in the North Toledo area.
