Assistant Director of Asset Management
The Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) is seeking an Assistant Director of Asset Management to serve as assistant to the Director of Asset Management. The Assistant Director of Asset Management will:
Plan, coordinate, monitor and manage the day-to-day activities and operations of LMHA’s public housing programs. Will ensure the properties remain financially viable through efficient performance of marketing, financing, occupancy, facility maintenance and risk management functions. Ensures staff is providing excellent customer service to residents and vendors. Assist the Director of Asset Management in the development and implementation of current and future programs that maximize and enhance the Authority’s goals and objectives.
LMHA is among the fifty largest housing authorities in the United States and provides affordable housing opportunities to approximately 14,000 individuals. LMHA owns and manages approximately 2,700 public housing units, 200 affordable housing units, 4,563 federal Housing Choice (Section 8) rental assistance vouchers, and has an annual operating budget of $53 million.
Bachelor’s degree required in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Finance, Social Sciences, or other related discipline. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in property or asset management. Three (3) years at the executive, supervisory or managerial level of responsibility.

Director of Real Estate Development and Construction
The Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) is seeking a Director of Real Estate Development and Construction. The Director will be responsible for the overall management of design, construction, and redevelopment activity essential to the success and effectiveness of a multi-million dollar construction and modernization program.
Master's degree required in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Real Estate Development, Engineering or Architecture and five years of work experience as an administrator for programs involving housing development and finance. A Bachelor’s degree and eight years of required experience may be substituted in lieu of the Master’s degree.
