Light The Night: A Recognition of Local Organizations Partnered in the Fight Against Crime

WHAT: An annual celebration of community partnerships that recognizes the solidarity between local government, law enforcement and community volunteers in the fight against crime.

WHY: Communication between law enforcement officials and community members is essential in order to keep neighborhoods and their residents safe. Light the Night 2017 is sponsored by Toledo Neighborhood Block Watch and the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA). Refreshments and music will follow remarks from local leaders and the ceremonial lighting.
